Great little place to grab a bite. You should definitely stop in and try a rainbow I can't believe no one else had figured out how amazing that combination works.

Look, as a lifelong Bountiful resident, I’ll let you in on a little secret. You don’t go to Pace’s Dairy Ann for a meal. You’d be better off eating Burger King than a burger and fries from Pace’s. But, what you definitely come here for is the ice cream, specifically, the Rainbow. Now, by itself the ice cream and slush is average at best. It’s your standard soft serve and frozen sugary water, but for some reason, it just works together — kind of like Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. For the Rainbow alone this place gets four stars!

I am tired of negative and bad reviews, especially for companies that Do Not Deserve it. I understand they have bad days, but you need to understand that you are not the only customer they have, and they are doing their best with inflation and being a family owned business. Plus, I’d rather Pay GOOD MONEY for a good burger, than a piece of shit burger from McDonald’s. I ordered a deluxe cheeseburger, no mayo, added bacon, with a side of onion rings. Oh! Also a rainbow (highly recommended for every purchase). I will have to say the rainbows have been an extreme addiction. That I have here. So I ate that on my walk home by the time I got home my food was still warm. I would like to say 45-60 minutes after I gotten my food. The hamburger was still good. Still had the right amount of mustard and ketchup, I am one that has never been a fan of hamburgers ever since I was five years old, and this is the only place that I ate every single bite of the hamburger I got. It was bursting with flavor and my inner fat kid came out. The onion rings I could tell were made out of real onions and handmade batter. They were crunchy and the fry sauce complemented them very nicely. As a self proclaimed connoisseur of fry sauce, I would say they have the best fry sauce that I have ever had, and I’ve lived here in Utah, the state of fry sauce my whole life. The only thing I would have to say negatively about this experience, which isn’t even a negative thing because in the Davis county tap-water is disgusting no matter where you get it in this county, (some places worse than others) but that shouldn’t determine The service you get or quality of your food.

Their “Country Boy” is one of my favorites, rivaling an Atlantis or Apollo burger. How is this place not crowded. Way understated and underestimated by most.

This diner is the reason we visit Utah! Pace's has been a family tradition for many years, and the food here tastes like pure nostalgia. They serve up the best onion rings in the globe, which I love with a Country Boy burger. They have various slush drink concoctions that are delicious in every variety. Try a Peach Rainbow (peach slush served over a vanilla soft-serve ice cream core) and you'll know why this place keeps bringing my family back from states away.

A local favorite that brings back all the nostalgia from this family-owned burger and shake joint. From the iconic Pace’s sign and gas pump, to their colorful ice cream signs and memorabilia, grab a Rainbow (slush, soft-serve ice cream, and flavoring), a greasy burger and/or fries/tots with fry sauce, and enjoy on the patio, from your car, or on the mountain side for a picnic a few short miles away. Their famous “Astro pops”popsicles are only .60, making it quick and easy to get a sweet treat and go about your day. Give yourself a little extra time during peak hours, and always be ready to smile and laugh as you enjoy 1957 and all it had to offer upon opening their doors. Old ice-cream trucks played their tunes as kids ran to get their tasty treats from the local Pace’s trucks shown in photos along the indoor seating. My favorites are the Peach Rainbow, tots, and a cheeseburger, that I’ll happily share or make a second meal out of.
